NH Primary Source: Mowers endorsed by 20 NH state representatives in bid for US House

GRASSROOTS SUPPORT. Republican 1st Congressional District candidate Matt Mowers on Thursday will announce endorsements by 20 members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

New Hampshire Primary Source has a first look.

Rep. Jeanine Notter of Merrimack called Mowers a strong conservative with “common sense and strong values,” while Rep. Wayne MacDonald of Londonderry said Mowers will “fight for middle class families back here in New Hampshire that have long been forgotten by (President) Joe Biden and (U.S. Rep.) Chris Pappas.”

Rep. Peter Varney of Alton said Mowers “will be a champion of the Second Amendment, stand strong to secure our border and work to keep our communities safe.”

Also on the endorsement list, which can be seen in full here, are Reps. Peter Torosian of Atkinson, Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien of Derry, Glenn Cordelli of Tuftonboro, John Leavitt of Hooksett and Niki Kelsey of Bedford.

“Our New Hampshire leaders need a real partner in Washington, D.C. to fight for our middle-class families, seniors, and veterans,” Mowers said. “That’s why I am proud to have the support of the legislative leaders here in New Hampshire who work to improve the lives of all Granite Staters every day.”
